Not much to say really…

24 04 2007

Yeah, I know I haven’t posted in my blog in about 9 months so I am going to give you all a quick update.

1) I divorced my wife.

2) I went into a detox and am now 6 months clean and sober from all drugs and alcohol. (Except caffeine and nicotine, duh.)

3) I no longer have Linux. My OS’s are now Windows XP Pro SP2, Windows Vista Premium Home Edition, Windows Vista Ultimate Edition and OSX.

4) I have a new girl in my life, and she is the best.

Something else not to be numbered:

After tomorrow (Wednesday April 25th.), I shall be carrying a child inside me as I will be going to the doctors tomorrow and will be impregnated. Luckily, the father of the child is not an asshole and will most likely be active in the child’s life, unlike the first one.

That’s pretty much all to say at this moment. Who knows, I might keep this blog up to date, even though I hate blogs.

EDIT:  Also, I am currently building a new setup.  Will be a hell of a lot better then my current one.

Finally removed Windows…

14 09 2006

Well, I wouldn’t say “removed”. I gave Windows XP 30gb’s of HD drive space and gave something like 500gb’s (Too early in the morning to think.) to my new main OS… Ubuntu Linux. Which, in my opinion, runs alot smoother on my new setup then XP did. (This excludes my Gateway Cx200x which is a tablet laptop.) So yeah, I am now running Linux and I am loving it. I will add more posts as I get more used to Linux. So until then, it is 5 A.M EST and I have work in 4 hours and I have yet to sleep. So I think it is time for a coffee injection and a LONG hot shower.

Had a nice problem today…

29 07 2006

Heh. Mikerms is going to love this. Hah.

Well, earlier in the day I decided fook it I am going to partion out my HDD again to try and do a triple boot and install Kubuntu Linux (I already had RR4 Linux and WinXP). So I went in and started partioning my main HDD and started having problems with it recognizing me putting in 15 GB’s. Well. I aborted installation and warm booted my pc. Just to see it goto a blank screen with a single blinking cursor. I rebooted, hit F2, nothing wrong. Rebooted, saw the same thing. Pressed F8. Saw Windows XP, selected it. Nothing.

So I came online and asked Sufian what to do. Not much I could do but check my settings again. Nothing.

I went back into installing Kubuntu and saw that there was 60 gb’s of HDD space free. I was like… Fuck me blind. Went and just installed Kubuntu. So now I am open source.

The bad part: DVD’s, AVI’s, mp3’s and basically every format of media except pictures and ogg vorbis and FLAC can’t be opened. Also, Kubuntu won’t recognize all my HDD’s. It only recognizes my external and my main. This is sad sad indeed.  I can’t even update my iPod.  :(

Went on a date?

6 06 2006

Yeah, as the title suggests, I kind of went on a "date" with someone I least expected. The lunch lady. Haha. I saw her the other day for the first time in 10 years and I told her that I remember her being the lunch lady from the middle school I went to. She remembers me and we started talking, and grabbed a coffee. Come to find out, she just came out after divorcing her husband. So, I asked if she wanted to hang out sometime again she said yeah, and last night we went to the bar for a few beers. :) It was kind of cool actually. Too bad I'm married. I would have tapped her. Haha.

Just wanted to rant before bed. Peace.

Can it be? Angel using Apple?

28 05 2006

Yup, it is. I, being a person that has mostly been using Windows based systems for a long time now (Since 3.1) has started the transition to Apple. I bought something for myself today. A 2gb iPod Nano black. Cost: $119, which is a steal. :)

Click me bihotch
The iPod in the box. Oooh.
Oh you know you want to click me
The iPod out of the box. Aaah.
And last but not least, the iPod playing a song:
Click me for free sex. Oh yeah baby.

If I remember right it is Gorillaz – Demon Days – Kids with guns. Oh well.

Well, aesthetically this is a fine piece of hardware, the sound and interface is nice as well. But I still want to hack the iPod to allow me make it how I want it to look. But who knows when that will be.

I also bought myself a new wireless keyboard and mouse and Usb 2.0 hub to go along with the Black Nano, but oh well. It isn’t important. :)

Had a great mother’s day…

15 05 2006

Where to start, where to start. OK. I'll start at the beginning.

Well, Michelle (my wife) and I had a great last night for reasons I won't explain in this. Well, we both slept in 'til about 10 A.M., which is really late for both of us. We both were woken up by Tanya, my daughter poking us in the ribs and breasts. To both our amazement my daughter and son, Miguel cooked us breakfest in bed. With of course the help of my sister Stephanie. So we both ate our breakfast and my daughter hopped up on my belly and my son crawled up on Michelle and Tanya told me that there is a suprise for both of us in the living room.  So we both got up and put some clothes on and headed to the living…

Both of our eyes lit up with amazement. My daughter and son had gotten us a pair of matching lockets with our names one the front, their pictures in the middle and the word "mommy" on the back. I'm guessing that my sister sprung for the costs but she won't tell me. :(

But… This was just the start.

My daughter, son and sister made us dinner as well. For the appetizer we had freshly cooked shrimp, cooled and in a wine glass with some of that red sauce. That was good. For our main dinner we had the most amazing pork ever. Slowly cooked so that the meat falls off the bone. It was cooked in a bag with garlic and onions. My god was it good. On the side we had salad, broccoli, homemade mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, mushrooms and stuffed onions. For desert we had the most amazing cheesecake ever. It wasn't too sweet which is a good thing and it was topped with raspberries, strawberries, cherries and blueberries.

So let's just say I gained about 10 lbs from this meal alone. But man it was good.

I also got a few gifts from Michelle, clothing for the bedroom mostly. I gave her a bracelet with our names and our childrens names on it. She loved it. :)

Well, anywho. It's time I got back to skinning this Litestep theme and work out the kinks. Just thought I'd share the best mothers day I had ever had with all who have/will view my post. Peace.

Got a website

16 04 2006

My friend Jason from Static-Industries was kind enough to hook me up with webspace, bandwidth and a subdomain.  The site is located here, and will become the new primary home of my skins and themes that I make.  It will also host my Screenshots, Wallpapers and Icons.  So that is a very good thing.  :)   The site is pretty well done, all that needs to be done is a few fixes here and there and I need to start uploading.  So please bookmark the page and keep an eye out for my upcoming VS's and Litestep themes.

Thanks and peace.  :)

Finally got my new PC running…

9 04 2006

I finally got my new PC built and the fooking thing is a BEAST. I’ve never had a computer run so fast. Windows pop up within about half a second of clicking on the link. Programs open up so quickly too. Normally Photoshop CS2 took a tad bit to open up. Now it is like 3 seconds and bam, I’m drawing. The whole system only takes like 30 to 40 seconds to boot up into XP. I am in just utter amazement. Even the dual monitor setup is making me want to orgasm every 5 seconds of viewing. The Flat panel LCD’s really make video crisp and nice.

Here is that stats for the setup:

Lian-Li PC7077A.
Antec TPII 550 W PSU.
Dual 19″ LCD.
ASUS A8N Deluxe Motherboard.
AMD Athlon 64 3700+ SD 2.2 Ghz.
2 GB Corsair XMS DDR SDRAM PC3200.
256 MB Geforce 7800GT.
Creative Sound Blaster 7.1 Sound Card.
RR4 Linux / Windows XP Pro Sp2/Latest drivers-updates.
CD/CDRW/DVD/DVDRW Combo drive.
60 GB internal HDD.
4 GB internal HDD.
250 GB internal HDD.
250 GB internal HDD.
200 GB Buslink USB 2.0 External HDD.
2×120MM, 3×80MM Fans.

When I got my Gateway CX200X I thought that was blazing fast. But now it is just wow with me.

The only thing that sucks about my new setup is the sound of 2×120MM and 3×80MM fans, plus the ones on the PSU, going all at once… Damn thing sounds like a jet engine to me when I boot it all up. Haha.

I am used to just small heat sinks because of my previous home built computer case was a modified shuttle (made into a clear case by me) (So no room for a fan…). So I was scared all to hell when this thing started up.

Well, anywho. I’m tired, hornhay and I am going to go take a massaging shower and head to bed. Night night people. :)

Problems fixed…

2 04 2006

Had some technical problems

1 04 2006

Here is the story:

————————

Alright, this morning I woke up. Had a cup of coffee and decided to go check the news and weathers. So I did so. Then I switched over to Litestep from Explorer. Then, I went in to Resource Hacker and started replacing just the icons in Shell32.dll. I then opened TGTsoft's resedit to change icons, because ResHack was starting to burn my eyes. Then I saved it and I then opened back up ResHacker and continued replacing icons. I then saved it after I was done. So I opened Replacer and put the original Shell32.dll into Replacer then I put the hacked version of Shell32.dll into Replacer, Hit continue and it started replacing the files. Well, it replaced the files. So that was a good thing. I then promptly rebooted and here is where I hit the big problem.
When the bootscreen came on it booted and then progressed to the Logon Screen, which is duh… normal. But then the Logon Screen went to an error. "Shell32.dll is not a valid file", so I said OK, I'll fix that bitch. Shutdown manually and turned back on the computer. I hit F10 during boot to open up the boot sequence, which way to boot. So I picked safe mode, which is the normal thing to do. It started into Windows but then another error came up.

"msgina.dll failed to load"

With only the option of restarting. So I was like fux.

—————————————————–

Well, needless to say, I posted that on Hardwaregeeks. A forum that I goto on a regular basis, and alot of my friends helped me out on there and on MSN.

All I have to really say is a BIG THANK YOU to all that helped out.

Thank you Skinnyman, AlphaAlien, Joe and Mike.

Thanks you all so much, without you I would have NEVER gotten this done. *Tears
